George is a Chartered Marketer and holds a Graduate Diploma in International Marketing from the London School of International Business, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from London Guildhall University and an MBA from London South Bank University.
He was awarded a Honorary Doctorate of Public Administration by the Commonwealth University in october, 2015. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, UK and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and Institute of Loan and Risk Management Ghana.He is also a Chartered member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK. Dr. Gyamfi-Osew is currently the Director of Operations at NLA, a position he was appointed to in June 2013. Prior to this appointment, he was the Director of Special Projects from 2011 to 2013. George is the pioneer Marketing and Sales Director, a position he held from 2003 to 2011 and a former Vice President of Manet International Corporation, Real Estate Developers.
Prior to joining the then Department of National Lotteries (now NLA), Dr. Gyamfi-Osew was the Managing Partner of George and Associates, a Business Strategy Consulting firm.
He has several years experience within the service management environment with British Telecommunications PLC where he worked as a Global Finance Service Executive.
Before joining BT, he was a Group Manager with Chapel Ash Securities Limited – a Financial Services Company.
George has served as a Member of the Governing Council, Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana, Member of the Marketing/Advertising/Sponsorship Subcommittee, CAN 2008 Local Olympic Committee, and an adjunct faculty member of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He is the Life Patron of Chartered Institute of Marketing Students Association, Ghana. In January, 2010, George was inducted into the International Who Is Who Historical Society of Professionals. George is the current President/Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, Ghana Branch. George is dedicated to Coaching and Mentoring the Youth.
