The National Lottery Authority has presented a cheque of Ten thousand Ghana cedis (Ghs 10,000.00) and a carton of schnapps to the Akropong Traditional Council. This is to support the funeral rites of the late Okuapemhene, Oseadeeyo Addo Dankwa III who passed on in August 2015.
General Manager, Security and Special Projects, Lt. Col. Dzotofe-Mensah said the gesture is NLA’s contribution to help give the late chief a befitting burial.
Akuapem Gyasehene, Nana Osim Kwatia II who talked about the longstanding relationship between Okuapeman and NLA thanked the Authority for responding to their call for support.

The late chief, Oseadeeyo Addo Dankwa III was installed the Paramount Chief of the Akuapem Traditional Area in 1974 at the age of 44 and reigned for 35 years. He is reputed to be the longest-reigning Okuapehene since the formation of the Akuapem State.
