The National Lottery Authority has donated a cheque of Ten thousand Ghana cedis (Ghs 10,000.00) to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection as part of its mandate is required to protect and care for vulnerable and marginalized groups, particularly orphans, aged, destitute, inmates of female prisons and the Gambaga Witches Camp. The ministry during the yuletide every year presents food items, drinks, clothes and toiletries to these vulnerable groups.

Stressing the importance of customer service to an organization’s business growth, Brig Gen Ahiaglo stated that ‘’in today’s customer-oriented business environment, the manner in which you handle your customers can directly affect an organization’s goals and its performance, and in NLA we realize that customer service is everyone’s responsibility.’’

Corporate Communications Manager of NLA, Kesewaah Dolphyne who presented the cheque to the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection noted that NLA is very sympathetic to the needs of the less privileged and thus decided to support the Ministry to achieve a common goal.
The Sector Minister, Nana Oye Lithur who received the cheque thanked NLA for the continuous support and said it would enable the ministry to put smiles on the faces of the deprived.
