The newly appointed Director-General (DG), Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam was officially introduced to the Management and Staff of National Lottery Authority (NLA) on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Brennan Hall.

The immediate past Director-General and MP for the Akuapem North Constituency, Hon. Samuel Awuku introduced the new DG to Management and Staff. He expressed his confidence in Mr. Abdul-Salam’s ability to lead the Authority effectively and urged them to offer the same level of support they gave him.

In Mr. Abdul-Salam's address, he affirmed his commitment to upholding the mission of the NLA and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. He expressed gratitude to the Management and Staff for their warm welcome and pledged to fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to him by President John Dramani Mahama.

Mr. Abdul-Salam emphasized his openness to engaging with both staff and the Union to address concerns and learn from their experience.

As part of the proceedings, the former Director-General, Hon. Samuel Awuku officially presented his handing-over notes to Mr. Abdul-Salam.

Mr. Abdul-Salam brings a wealth of experience in corporate governance, human resource management, and leadership.
