CEO OF LOTTERIES BOARD OF NAMIBIA CALLS ON DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF NLA
The CEO of the Lotteries Board of Namibia, Dr. Johnaness Shimaneni, accompanied by Ms. Jacqueline Hindjou, First Secretary for Political Economics, Namibian High Commission, paid a courtesy call on the Director-General of NLA, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, and the Authority's executive management.
Dr. Shimaneni, on a three-day bench-marking visit to Ghana, called on the team to understudy the NLA’s operations. He noted that having blazed the trail and with similarities to Namibia's operations, they sought a good appreciation of what the NLA operations entail.
The Director-General, Mr. Abdul-Salam, welcomed the Namibian team and expressed the NLA’s excitement to host them and provide them with the necessary assistance to set up their lottery board.
The NLA team interacted extensively with the Namibian team, taking turns explaining the operations, structure, and processes pertaining to the Authority's corporate governance.
