Following his approval as ALA Vice President, the Director-General, Mr Abdul-Salam, paid a working visit to NLA's sister lottery body, the Loterie Nationale de Côte d'Ivoire (LONACI). He was warmly received by the Director-General of LONACI, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, who also serves as the ALA President.

Mr. Coulibaly expressed his delight at Mr Abdul-Salam's visit, describing it as a testament to the strong relationship between NLA and LONACI. He shared insights on tackling illegal lottery operators and pledged his full support to help Mr. Abdul-Salam succeed in his role.

During the visit, Mr. Abdul-Salam attended a ceremony where LONACI received its WLA Level 2 Certification in Responsible Gaming. The certificate was presented by the Permanent Secretary to ALA, Mr. Driss Hamdoune, who said this recognition illustrates LONACI's commitment to ensuring a safer, more transparent and responsible gaming environment .

Mr. Abdul-Salam congratulated LONACI on this achievement and wished them success as they prepared to begin the process for Level 3 Certification.
