EXECUTIVES OF THE NATIONAL LOTTO MARKETING COMPANY ASSOCIATION CALL ON DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL OF NLA
On Thursday, April 3, 2025, the National Executives of the National Lotto Marketing Company Association (NALMCA) paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Deputy Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr. Eric Yeboah Wadie,to formally introduce themselves. During the meeting, the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Frank Osei Opoku, highlighted the vital role the association plays in NLA’s decision-making proccess and appealed to Mr. Wadie to continue the frequent stakeholder engagements introduced by the former Director General, Hon. Samuel Awuku.
He also introduced the six-member executive team to the Deputy Director General.
Key concerns raised included challenges with unstable network connectivity which affects business operations and customer engagement as well as the growing issue of illegal operators, particularly unlicensed Banker-to-Banker operators.
Vice President of the Association, Mr. Joseph Kwaku Duah, expressed hope to work closely with the new leadership to address these challenges. The team also commended the new administration for ensuring the timely payment of commissions, a move that has been well received by industry players.
Deputy Director General, Mr. Wadie, thanked the Executives of NALMCA for their visit and assured them of NLA’s commitment and support for the smooth operations of Lotto Marketing Companies. The executives were accompanied by the Head of Sales Mr. Dokyi Peasah.
