NLA LAUNCHES 60TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The National Lottery Authority on Thursday, 29th September, 2022 officially launched the 60th Anniversary Celebration to set the tone for a three-month- long activities.
The program was well attended by some distinguished personalities including the President of the Association of African Lotteries (ALA) who doubles as the Director-General of LONACI and the Special Guest of Honour for the occasion, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Hon. Godfred Yeboah Dame, the Minister for Defence, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Hon. Dr. John Kumah, the Board Chairman of NLA, H.E Torgbui Francis Nyonyo and the Board Members of NLA.
Other dignitaries present include the Maltese High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Jean Claude Galea Mallia, the Deputy CEO of GIPC, Mr. Yaw Amoateng Afriyie, and HRM, the Gbese Mantse and his entourage.
NLA’s Collaborators, Lotto Marketing Companies, Private Lotto Operators, Partner Banks and other Invited Guests also attended the event.
Speeches made by the Director-General, Mr. Samuel Awuku and other Guest Speakers focused on the Authority’s journey from its inception to its present stage, the heights attained and what the future holds for the Authority, as it marks this milestone.
The evening was climaxed with the unveiling of the NLA @ 60 Logo, the NLA @ 60 Cloth and a theme song performed by musician, Edem.
